We are HR specialists providing HR advice to small/medium sized businesses, as well as training in HR and employment law.
As HR specialists we understand that each business is different and our flexible approach delivers cost effective HR advice ensuring compliance with employment legislation and the development of best practice.
Our outsourced HR solutions allow you to decide the level of support you need and our professionally qualified consultants/solicitors work closely with you to provide practical HR advice, training if required and employment law advisory services.
We can act as your outsourced HR Company, and our services are tailored to meet your requirements for a fraction of the cost of an in-house team. You can choose the Pay as You Go package or the monthly direct debit basis. Either way our HR Helpline is here to help you.
We can work for you on a specific HR Consultancy assignment or project basis to support a short term need, for example managing redundancy, recruitment and selection or disciplinary and grievance investigation.
Employment Contracts and Staff Handbook and other supporting Documentation
We specialise in providing bespoke and comprehensive contracts of employment to suit our clients’ requirements.
To accompany your employment contract we will draft your employment handbook containing all your policies, both contractual and non-contractual.
You receive these in electronic format and hard bound copies if required. We also write policies and procedures. For example, if you require a bespoke recruitment policy or internet use policy, we can do this for you.
Getting HR processes and procedures can be time consuming but having inefficient processes can be costly especially if as a result an employee pursues a claim in the Employment Tribunal.
For small companies with no HR department it could be that there is no checking system for whether contracts are being signed and returned or even issued. Also, for example, are probation period letters being signed off and self-certification forms being correctly completed if at all?
If not, your company may in some instances not be complying with legal requirements and in more serious situations preventing the defence of a claim if one arose.
Larger organisations may need to re-engineer their HR processes in line with company change or growth. For example, are departments communicating correctly on new hires and new leavers? Is the correct documentation being collated at induction and is the induction process working.
Location of your business is not a problem as we often work with businesses nationwide as well as locally in Chelmsford, and Essex.
We can assist with these matters and may more. Having implemented HR process and procedures into companies of various sizes for many year we are able to advise your business on best practices.
